NETWORK SETTINGS
Use SonicIP
If set to "yes", the device will announce its IP address over the audio output during device startup.
Default: "yes"
IP Address, Netmask, Gateway IP Address
Use the default "0.0.0.0" in all fields to enable automatic network configuration (DHCP/BOOTP, IPzator, AutoIP)
Otherwise enter the IP address, netmask and gateway address in their own fields.
Default: "0.0.0.0"
Syslog Address
Destination address for syslog debug messages.
If set to 0.0.0.0 syslog messages are broadcast.
Default: "0.0.0.0"
DHCP Host Name
The DHCP Host Name is taken from My Zone Name, to change it use the Basic Settings.
If left empty, a name based on the device's MAC address is generated automatically and sent to the DHCP server.
Web Server Port
Defines the port where the webserver of the Barix device can be reached. If set to "0" the default HTTP port (80) is used.

BARP SETTINGS
BARP IP Address
Enter here the IP address where the BARP messages will be sent to. This field must be either multicast, or broadcast. If the entered address is not multicast, the device will fallback to the audodetected broadcast address
Default: "0.0.0.0 (broadcast)"
BARP Command Port
Defines the port where the BARP commands are being sent. If set to "0" the default port (5556) is used.
BARP Status Port
Defines the port where the BARP status messages are being sent. If set to "0" the default port (5557) is used.

PAGING
Chime
Configures if a ding dong chime should be streamed before the paging message is sent.
Default: Yes.
Audio Destination IP
This is the address to be used by this device to send PA message. By default the system works with broadcast, if changing from this,
each master must use a unique non unicast address e.g unique multicast address.
Default: 0.0.0.0.
Audio Destination Port
Configures the destination audio port where the paging stream is sent. A value of 0 means a random port from 1024 to 65535.
Default: 0.

BACKGROUND MUSIC
Audio Source IP
Configures the listening IP for the background music service (bgm).
Default: 0.0.0.0 (listen to all).
Audio Port
Configures the listening port for the background music service (bgm).
Default: 0 (bgm service disabled).
Audio Volume
Configures the volume, in 5% steps, to be used for the bgm.
Default: 30%.

EMERGENCY AUDIO
This section allows to configure teh device to receive an high priority emergency message.
This message has the highest priority and will be played over any played audio.
Audio Source IP
Configures the listening IP for the emergency message.
Default: 0.0.0.0 (listen to all).
Audio Port
Configures the listening port for the emergency message.
Default: 0 (emergency audio disabled).
Audio Volume
Configures the volume, in 5% steps, to be used for the emergency message.
Default: 50%.

SECURITY SETTINGS
On a Gateway device it is recommended to set a password as it also used to authenticate mobile devices to the system.
Set Password
This field is visible as long as no password is set.
Enter a password (up to 25 characters) and hit the "Apply" button. After the restart you should close the browser window and open a new browser window. You will be asked to supply user name and password. The user name can be omitted but the password has to be supplied in order to see the web configuration.
Old Password / New Password
These fields are visible as long as a password is set.
To allow free access (clearing the password) enter the old password and leave the field "New Password" empty, then hit the "Apply" button.
After the restart you will not be asked for user name and password anymore.
To change the password enter the old password and enter the new password in the field "New Password", then hit the "Apply" button.
After the restart you will be asked for user name and password. The user name can be omitted but the new password has to be supplied in order to see the web configuration.
